Platform Tennis

At OPRC, you'll find the only platform tennis courts in Charlotte, NC. We offer three platform tennis courts.

 

Platform Tennis, or Paddle, is a racquet sport played on elevated courts with wire mesh walls. It is popular among players of all ages and skill levels and is easy to learn. 

 

All players, including beginners, are encouraged to try paddle sports outdoors this winter for exercise, fun, camaraderie, and a chance to improve their volleys, reflexes, and mental game for spring tennis.

 

Platform Tennis is a sport played at public or private tennis clubs, as well as in backyards, at both recreational and highly competitive levels. It was designed to be enjoyed outdoors in cold weather, which gives it a unique appeal that attracts people who desire fresh air, competition, and social engagement, all on a chilly winter's night.
