The OPRC Board of Directors recently voted to change the Initiation Fee structure for new, incoming members. This new structure offers an exciting opportunity for new members to join the club with substantially Reduced I-Fees until January 14, 2012, or until the club reaches full membership capacity. All initiation fees must be paid in full at the time of joining.

Membership Categories and Fees

RESIDENT Membership (ages 41 and over). Initiation fee is $3,500. Quarterly dues are $470.

ASSOCIATE RESIDENT Membership (ages 31 thru 40). Initiation fee is $1,500. Quarterly dues are $470. (The membership of an Associate Resident member turning 41 will be terminated and that member may elect to convert to Resident status by paying the difference between paid initiation fee and the current Resident initiation fee prevailing at the time of the members 41st birthday.

YOUNG ADULT Membership (ages 18 thru 30). Initiation fee is $500. Quarterly dues are $470. (The membership of a Young Adult member turning 31 will be terminated and that member may elect to convert to Associate Resident status by paying the difference between paid initiation fee and the current Associate Resident initiation fee prevailing at the time of the members 31st birthday.

* All initiation fees must be paid in full at the time of joining. * The age of the older individual will determine the membership category and the date of the membership classification category change.

Membership entitles the Member and their immediate family to use the club facilities. A Member’s immediate family shall include the Member’s spouse and their unmarried children under the age of 25, who live at home or attend school on a full time basis.

Membership at Olde Providence Racquet Club requires three letters of recommendation from our members and application approval by the Board of Directors. For newcomers to Charlotte living here less than two years, the club will accept letters from former club Managers and Pros and employers in the area you recently lived.

Swim Only Membership is a seasonal membership which offers use of the pool only. Initiation Fee is $1100.00. Summer Dues are $550.00 (Olde Providence Swim Only members may choose to upgrade to Full Tennis membership and the Swim initiation fee may be applied to the Full Tennis membership category based upon the age of the older individual.)
