Group Exercise Class Descriptions

STRENGTHEN AND LENGTHEN:

A Pilates-based non-cardio class with emphasis on using bands and weights to spice things up! Great for Beginner to Advanced level participants.

CIRCUIT TRAINING:

No guts, no glory in this total body workout! This class incorporates drills designed to enhance agility, speed, power, strength and quickness. You’ll move around the room to a number of different stations – each designed for a specific skill or muscle group. Check “LAZY” at the door when you step into this workout. Circuit Training works you head to toe, so you’ll be ready for anything life brings.

YOGA FLOW:

This is the Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates workout that leaves you feeling long, strong, centered and calm. It’s your personal time out from the stress and strains of daily life, a 60 minute group exercise-to-music class that enhances your physical and mental well-being.

TOTAL BODY SCULPT:

This strength training class consists of endurance drills and functional resistance exercises. We use hand weights to guarantee you’ll burn calories while giving your muscles a great workout. This class will present a challenge for even an experienced athlete.

CARDIO/CORE CONDITIONING:

Tired of doing the same basic crunches and sit-ups? This class will lead you through a variety of exercises designed to work your entire abdominal area and cardiovascular fitness. You’ll build muscles you never knew you had while developing Cardio Endurance and Core Strength that will enhance your tennis performance!

LITE AND LIVELY:

This is a fun, energizing class that helps seniors take greater control of their health by encouraging physical movement and offering social interaction. Each week in this low impact class for beginners, you will learn to improve your posture, balance, flexibility and overall strength. The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your movements!

WIPEOUT:

This class is not for beginners! This is the ULTIMATE FUSION CLASS. Anything goes. Each week we will challenge you in ways you never imagined. Its also a lot of fun and laughs! Come if you are not scared :)

FUSION CROSS TRAINING:

This is a class that blends 3 different elements of fitness. This 60 minute class entails: Cardio Intervals (running, spinning, boxing), Strength Training (free weights, bands, body wt.), Stretch (Yoga Based). The result is an addictive and motivating training session that burns up to 1000 calories and strengthens the heart, turns fat into muscle, builds strength, increases mobility and decreases stress.

H2O FITNESS:

This water aerobic class will take place in both shallow and deep water. Floatation devices are welcomed if not offered. The workout includes calisthenics style movements with variations of upper and lower body resistive moves. You will march, jog, kick, jacks and jump through the water to create resistance to improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance and flexibility. Get ready to get wet and have some fun!

JUNIOR FITNESS CONDITIONING:

When you watch the game of tennis today, you can appreciate the power and strength players have. The matches can last anywhere up to five hours and you quickly realize that tennis players have to have extraordinary fitness, power and endurance. John Moss, BS, CPT-NASM, CES-NASM, has put together a training system that will take your tennis game to the next level! Training components: PreHab (injury prevention), Movement Prep (warm-up), Plyometrics (jump training), Movement Skills, Med Ball Training (power), Strength Training and Regeneration (recovery). The end results: a more powerful serve, better court quickness and less risk of nagging pains and injuries.
