John Moss, Fitness Director John has provided personal fitness training and group exercise instruction to OP members since joining the Club staff in 2007. John is highly skilled in strength and conditioning techniques, working with both adults and juniors to improve their speed, agility, and stamina. He also teaches classes in yoga, kickboxing, and Fusion cross training. John received his BS degree in Exercise Science & Health Promotion from Appalachian State University in 1997. He has earned his Certified Personal Trainer designation through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and is also trained in corrective exercise and advanced flexibility. John is married to wife Christy and has 3 children ages 14, 11, & 9 years. He continues to remain active by participating in senior track & field competitions. John’s philosophy for fitness is best summarized by the phrase “The quality of your movement determines the quality of your life”. |
