BRenda Culbertson, General Manager

After 30 + years as Associate General Manager of Olde Providence Racquet Club, Brenda assumed the duties of General Manager in May of 2013. Brenda understands the history and culture of the Club like few others. Her goal is to insure that Olde Providence remains one of the premier tennis facilities in the Southeast.


, Business Office Manager

Jan Bradshaw currently serves as the Business Office Manager. She has been a member of the OPRC team for 17 yrs. Jan began her stay as part of the Pro Shop Staff then spent  8 years as the Pro Shop Manager.  

Kathy Plattner, Member Accounts Director

Kathy works in the business office, handling all member charges and billing, as well as the administration of indoor court contracts. The job is a great fit for skills she honed during 15 years in finance at IBM.  Kathy loves tennis and is a longtime USTA and Queen City player. 

Lee Byrd, Club Secretary

As Club Secretary, Lee answers and directs calls and handles administrative duties for club staff. Lee has been a faithful employee since 1990.

Patti Furr, Member Services Director

As Director of Member Services, Patti has a multifaceted role. She explains the benefits of membership to people as they consider joining, as well as provides a detailed orientation for new members to help them make the most of the club. Patti also plans and executes club socials and helps coordinate private rentals and events.

Caroline Crownover, Communications Director

As Communications Director, Caroline is in charge of weekly e-blasts, social media posts, event marketing, membership collateral, and website updates.  She is also responsible for event creation and execution.  She has an MBA in marketing and years of experience with Hallmark Cards Inc and Joseph Beth Booksellers.


Jason sets and oversees the daily routines of the maintenance staff. He also coordinates club usage for league activities, parties, tournaments and other events. Though born in Indianapolis, he has lived in Charlotte most of his life. He graduated from Western Carolina University in 2000 with a degree in business administration. He has worked at OP since 1998.  .


Larry has been with Olde Providence since 1985 and heads up the clay court division of our facilities staff.
